Katie and Jackson met in middle school, but it wasn’t until high school that their story really began. During their freshman year at Alto High School, Jackson had a simple “when did that happen?” moment, and on March 12, 2019, they officially started dating.

High school quickly became a collection of shared memories—school days, football games under the Friday night lights, homecoming courts, and prom nights. Katie, a cheerleader, and Jackson, a football player, spent their high school years side by side.

On July 17, 2025, while vacationing with their families at Crystal Beach, Jackson surprised Katie with a proposal she never saw coming. Surrounded by both families and the sound of the waves, Katie said yes.

Now, they’re ready to begin the next chapter of their lives—grateful for where they started, excited for where they’re going, and looking forward to celebrating with the people who have been part of their journey from the very beginning.
